Carving in the Ozarks is a FREE event, open to the public, focused on the art of chainsaw carving. Throughout the weekend visitors of Eureka Springs will be treated to a number of exciting artistic displays that will have you never looking at a chainsaw the same way again! 

Typically 20 to 25 carvers participate in our event each year, creating a masterpiece right before your eyes. There are 2 carving events during the weekend. One on Friday at 8 AM and one Saturday at 8 AM. Saturday at 4 PM, Our auction will take place, all pieces carved this weekend will be offered at auction, with a portion of all proceeds benefiting 2-3 local civic organizations and charities.. All registered bidders are also entered into a drawing for a FREE carving to be given away after the auction. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN. In the spring get out to Eureka Springs for a time of heartland craftsmanship and a good cause with the Carving in the Ozarks Festival. Located on Hwy 62 East and Rockhouse Road. Watch for the large tents, You can't miss it.
